Había olvidado lo mucho que me gusta bordar con lentejuelas, tardé dos días haciendo este Santa Claus. Luego de haberlo terminado quedó muy hermoso, creo que las fotos no lo favorecen mucho. Es tan grande que creo quedaría más hermoso en el árbol de navidad.

Una novedad aquí es que por fin pude imprimir mi firma, la he plastificado y he hecho mi proyecto estampando mi marca. Esto me hizo sentir muy bien y hasta profesional. Es la idea de esto, que nos sintamos cada vez más seguros en materia de calidad tanto como para emprender.

He disfrutado mucho de la actividad, pensaba obsequiarlo, pero lo conservaré para mí, rara vez me quedo con algo que me queda muy lindo, hoy me o obsequio a mí y podré lucirlo a ver si alguien le gusta y me encarga uno. Lleva su trabajo, su paciencia y sus materiales.

I had forgotten how much I love embroidering with sequins, it took me two days to make this Santa Claus. After I finished it, it was very beautiful, I think the pictures don't really flatter him. It is so big that I think it would look more beautiful on the Christmas tree.

A new thing here is that I finally got to print my signature, I laminated it and made my project by stamping my mark. This made me feel very good and even professional. It is the idea of this, that we feel more and more confident in terms of quality as much as to undertake.

I really enjoyed the activity, I was thinking of giving it as a gift, but I will keep it for myself, I rarely keep something that looks very nice, today I am giving it as a gift to myself and I will be able to show it off and see if someone likes it and orders one for me. It takes work, patience and materials.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Step 1️⃣/ Paso 1️⃣

Recorté las piezas sin un molde, si tienes uno sugiero que lo hagas, de todas maneras la cara de Santa Claus no es muy difícil, consta de figuras geométricas: Un triángulo el gorro, redonda la cara y nariz, bigote y barba.

Comienza a bordar con las lentejuelas lo que es la barba, una vez que termines, cose la barba a la cara.

I cut out the pieces without a mold, if you have one I suggest you make it, anyway Santa's face is not very difficult, it consists of geometric shapes: A triangle for the hat, round for the face and nose, mustache and beard.

Start embroidering with the sequins what is the beard, once you finish, sew the beard to the face.

Step 2️⃣/ paso 2️⃣

Al bordar las piezas puedes fijarlas de una vez con las otras piezas.

Borda el bigote con las lentejuelas, luego cose la nariz.

Coloca el gorro y la parte blanca del gorro, ambas puedes coserlas, yo fui bordando de una vez.

Rellena toda la pieza no dejes espacios donde se vea la tela.

When embroidering the pieces you can fix them at once with the other pieces.

Embroider the moustache with the sequins, then sew the nose.

Place the hat and the white part of the hat, both can be sewn together, I embroidered them all at once.

Fill the whole piece, do not leave spaces where the fabric can be seen.

Step 3️⃣/ paso 3️⃣

Luego de bordar el logo, cose el pompón de la pinta y lo bordas.

Recorté una forma de hojas de pascua y las bordé fijándolas a la pieza del gorro.

Hice los ojos bordando con lentejuelas, luego rellené los labios y coloqué una en cada lado como rubor.

Esta parte es opcional pero fue mi favorita, coloqué mis logos en el aro del llavero, esto le da mucha personalidad.

After embroidering the logo, sew the pintuck pompom and embroider it.
I cut out a shape of Easter leaves and embroidered them attaching them to the hat piece.
I made the eyes by embroidering with sequins, then filled in the lips and placed one on each side as a blush.
This part is optional but it was my favorite, I placed my logos on the key ring, this gives it a lot of personality.

Step 4️⃣/ paso 4️⃣

Toma el fieltro o la tela color negra y recorta la forma del Santa Claus ya terminado de bordar.

Cose por las orillas y deja un borde para rellenar. Usé un embudo para ayudarme a meter el relleno que fueron perlas de anime. Puedes sustituirlas por bolitas de polipropileno o algodón sintético.

Cierra la abertura cociendo.

Para que no se vea la costura puedes bordar por la parte de atrás lentejuelas de color negro.

Take the felt or black fabric and cut out the shape of the finished Santa Claus.

Sew along the edges and leave a border for stuffing. I used a funnel to help me stuff the stuffing, which were anime beads. You can substitute polypropylene or synthetic cotton balls.

Close the opening by sewing.

You can embroider black sequins on the back so that the seam is not visible.

We have finished the project.
