It's another beautiful week, and amazing entries are already littered across the community.
I seriously commend the effort of the judges in deciding winners, it is not really easy. Just on review, sometimes you see so many beautiful entries and you are even confused on which one to go with. Imagine being a judge, heheh, that work is not for the weak.
This week I will be reviewing a violin cover of Falling In Love by
@maniartist. I am a lover of musical instruments. Guitar, piano and violin are my favorites.
Although I do not know how to operate any of them yet, wherever I see them on display, I don't hesitate to give full attention to them.
I must confess, I was drawn to this particular entry because of the violin. A lot of times I only see people play them in movies, I have never seen anyone doing it raw, like a pure display of talent, so when I saw this one, it piqued my interest.
Maniartist is a lover of the instrument he plays, he seemed nervous, he just wanted to get it started, I deduced that from his brief introduction.
He probably didn't want to waste anyone's time, he just wanted to give us the good stuff right away.
And he beat my expectations, he is for sure good at playing the violin. Like I said earlier, I used to watch professionals play the instrument in movies and from the little I have learned from them, I can tell he delivered well.
The sound he made with his violin was captivating. I can't tell whether there was any error or not but, obviously, he is very good at playing the instrument. You need to see the way he was moving the stick across the strings, it was like those guys I used to see on the television and that stood out for me.
His body language was also good, he didn't make it all boring by being motionless. Maniartist, moved his body almost as if he were dancing while playing his instrument, and that was cool for me. I believe that if what you give doesn't affect you, first of all, it can't affect another person. However, I was expecting a lot of smiles on his face, but I got only a few.
Overall, he did a great job, I love his performance. Well done, Maniartist.
