I am sincerely happy for this opportunity to write in this community as this is my first time writing in #HiveGhana.
About gratitude — I have been grateful for many things in my life, ranging from my life, family, friends, and the fact that I am healthy.
There have been accidents that almost claimed my life, but I am still here today writing, and that is because I am alive. My life hasn't been the best, or I might not be living my best life, but I am grateful that I am still here. There are days when there is absolutely nothing to eat, but as the saying goes — When there's life, there's hope (I hope I got the saying correctly)

I am also grateful for my elder brother. I am grateful to him and grateful that I have someone like him, since my dad went to heaven, he assumed that role of a dad despite he being just 15. His advices and words of encouragement have always been like strength to me. He will always tell me that he believes in me, that he knows I won't end up as nothing. He is ever ready to go hungry just for me to eat. I will forever be happy to be called his sister.

My mom has been a great part of my life. This write-up wouldn't be complete without me mentioning her, she has been my pillar. I call her for almost everything. When I cook and it spoils, I call her and tell her. When I write my test and maybe didn't do so well, I call her and complain. When I’m having problems staying awake and reading, I call her and complain. Even when I feel that school is stressing me, I call her. During my cramps, I call her. And you know what? She listens.

I am grateful for my friends that they're here for me, especially @kingdomzy. I am grateful to have him as a friend.

I might not have much going on in my life right now, but all I can say is that I am grateful. Having my family together in good health is more than I can wish for. There was a time when my stepmom fell sick, the doctors didn’t know what to do anymore. We could only cry and pray for the best. But guess what? My stepmom, who we thought we had almost lost, is alive and well. She now talks a lot and wants to eat everything 😂. Omo, I have a lot to be grateful for.

I am equally grateful that I was referred to #hive a space where I can write both fiction and non-fiction, where I can say things I haven’t told anyone in the form of stories. Being here has gotten me friends and exposure. I didn’t know about this community before, but I am grateful that I have gotten to know about you. So please, get ready to see more of me 😊.

Thank you for staying and reading through. Just know that I am grateful for your contributions and support... 💕
