Hace unos días estaba pensando que ya venía carnaval y quería hacerle algo a Jade para dicha fecha y miré muchas opciones, pero lo que llamó mi atención fue hacerle a Jade un traje de avejita; así le puedo hacer a mi sobrina uno de florecita para que estén convinadas ambas.

A few days ago, I was thinking that Carnival was coming up and I wanted to make something for Jade for that date. I looked at many options, but what caught my attention was making Jade a little bird costume; that way I can make my niece a little flower costume so they can both match.
Primero que nada, busqué mis moldes para hacer el vestidito con telas, obviamente amarilla y negra. Primeramente, sacamos el molde de la camisita y cortamos y de una vez pegamos; la verdad, esta es la parte menos complicada.
First of all, I looked for my patterns to make the little dress with fabric, obviously yellow and black. First, we took out the pattern for the shirt, cut it out, and glued it together; honestly, this is the least complicated part.
Para hacerle unas manguitas, marqué 4 medias lunas que todas fueran totalmente iguales y las corté, uní con alfileres del lado contrario y pegué y volteé las mangas. Para unirla a la camisita, debemos colocar de frente con frente tanto la tela de la manga como la tela de la camisita, aseguramos de nuevo con alfileres y aseguramos.
To make the sleeves, I marked four half-moons that were all exactly the same and cut them out. I pinned them together on the opposite side, glued them, and turned the sleeves inside out. Debería de quedarles como la primera imagen se ven super cuchis sus mangas, para continuar corto una pequeña tira en color negro para que haga un contraste y pego igual que las mangas, frente con frente y lugo volteamos.

Una vez que ya tenemos la camisita, vamos a cortar lo que sería nuestra falda, usaré dos tallas una talla S y una XS para que quede una mas pequeña que la otra tomando en cuenta que aqui hacemos un doblez.

En la faldita realizé un pequeño dobladillo para cada capa y luego de tener ambos dobladitos realizé unos tablones en cada una y cosi, esto es para darles ese arruche que deben tener cada una de ellas.
I made a small hem for each layer of the skirt and, after making both hems, I made some pleats in each one and sewed them, to give them the gather that each one should have.
Por último, para pegar ambas capas volvemos a pegar frente con frente, frente de la falda con frente de la camisita para que las costura quede escondida.

Este es el resultado final tanto por la parte de arriba del vestido como por la parte de abajo, que quería con esto, primeramente que no pareciera totalmente un disfraz porque asi cuando pasen los carnavales los puede seguir usando como vestidos y segundo ya solo me faltaría hacerle las alitas y las antenitas así que pronto se los iré compartiendo por eso día que esta sería la primera parte del disfraz así que sigan viendo, ¡Saludos!
