The more I write to Steemit - the more I have here mutual friends and followers. And the more I have here mutual friends and followers - the more I encounter one problem of this site. The problem that the creators of this resource, apparently, did not foresee
This is an inadequate Voting Power limit. In fact, each user can make about 9-10 upvoting per day with a force of 100%. This Voting Power limit is clearly not enough. This with great difficulty is enough for mutual voting with friends, and nothing will remain to vote for someone who wrote a really good post. and if you vote for a friend not in full force, but half or 25% - they might think that you greedy or petty.
Maybe this site is intended for a slightly different audience, but my Slavic mentality suggests that if I I will not vote for any of my friends (who are already accustomed to this) - they will just take offense, this may be the reason for stopping communication at all.
This is how I thought until yesterday that my Slavic mentality is to blame for everything, in this mentality everything is built on a foundation of friendly relations, acquaintances and mutually beneficial services.
But yesterday my opinion changed. It turned out this is not a Slavic problem, but a universal one.
It so happened that my previous post, yesterday, "shot a cannon". I do not know why this particular one.
I did not expect this post to be so popular, but in the first hour after its publication, about 70 reposts and resteems were made, besides, about 30 new subscribers followed me. But of these 100 people, only 2 people voted for the post, despite the fact that all these people obviously liked this post, since they made so many reposts.
People just do not have enough available upvotes allocated per day. I know what I'm talking about, because I use an advanced client to work with a Steemit, in which you can see everything - views, comments, reposts, votes, their strength in percentage terms and in relation to the STEEM POWER, etc.
If someone from company of delegates is reading this post right now, I ask you to pay attention to this problem, because after the distribution of votes to all friends, there is no way to vote for a message written by a stranger, if you liked this post.
Maybe that's why now there are so many a complaint for the lack of voting for posts that are really worthy of it. Maybe there is a sense to increase the number of available 100% upvotes, while slightly lowering the percentage of reward given out by each upvote?
