Hola apreciados amigos de #lifestyle el primero de mayo es un día festivo el cual celebramos el día del trabajador y en el pueblo donde vivo mantienen celebran el día del papelón, así que me fui a explorar como cada año esta celebración el cual está lleno de eventos especiales, dónde los organizadores se levantan muy temprano para procesar la caña de azúcar como materia prima para la elaboración del papelón.
Hello dear #lifestyle friends, May 1st is a holiday in which we celebrate Labor Day and in the town where I live they keep celebrating Papelón Day, so I went to explore, like every year, this celebration which is full of special events, where the organizers get up very early to process sugar cane as a raw material for making papelón.
Me fui casi al medio día, el Sol estába fuerte pero y al llegar estaban presentando un grupo de danzas donde participa mi sobrina. La caña de azúcar estába en una Paila de concreto dónde es llevada al punto de hacer el papelón. Esto se procesa a leña y para extraer el jugo de la caña utilizan un mini tractor que hace rodar el trapiche de manera cómoda y efectiva.
I left almost at noon; the sun was strong, but when I arrived, a dance group was performing, including my niece. The sugarcane was in a concrete pail, where it was transported to the sugar mill. This process is processed using firewood, and to extract the juice from the cane, they use a mini tractor that moves the mill comfortably and efficiently.
El proceso del hervor del jugo de caña puede tardar hasta tres horas,del cual solo salen 16 conos de papelón, estuve un buen rato esperando que sacarán papelón para poder comprar uno, pero se vendieron todos y me quedé sin llevarme uno a casa.
The process of boiling the sugarcane juice can take up to three hours, and only 16 cones of papelón come out. I waited a long time for them to release papelón so I could buy one, but they all sold out and I was left without taking one home.
Estás festividades comienzan desde buen temprano hasta la noche, en el transcurso del día se van presentando agrupaciones populares de la región para hacer un ambiente agradable. Los emprendedores llevan sus puestos de comidas, dulces, y demás dónde el que quiera se da el gusto que deseé.
These festivities begin early in the morning and last until late at night. Throughout the day, popular groups from the region perform to create a pleasant atmosphere. Entrepreneurs set up stalls selling food, sweets, and other items, where anyone can indulge themselves.
El lugar donde se realizan estás fiestas es al pie de un cerro, es abierto y el Sol no tiene contemplación con nadie, pero la gente igual se presenta para disfrutar del momento. Mientras tanto el papelón, por ser el motivo de las fiestas se elabora todo el día hasta el final de la tarde.
The place where these festivities are held is at the foot of a hill; it's open, and the sun shows no mercy to anyone, but people still show up to enjoy the moment. Meanwhile, the papelón, which is the theme of the festivities, is made all day long until late afternoon.
