Terminé mi segundo nivel de Inglés || I finished my second level of English✨📚

Estoy realizando un curso conversacional de inglés, y el sábado pasado terminé el segundo nivel✨ Y se siente genial volver a practicar un idioma que -a mí parecer- es sumamente importante aprenderlo, siento que puede traerte grandes oportunidades conocer más de un idioma. Aunque algunas cosas eran básicas, disfruté muchísimo mejorar mi pronunciación, mi escucha y hacer actividades divertidas. En Halloween vimos a los niños de los niveles infantiles ir salón por salón pidiendo “trick or treat” (eran una ternura), celebramos Thanksgiving donando comida a instituciones, y en Navidad hicimos un intercambio donde me tocaron unas medias navideñas y una cebra de Lego💗 Incluso un compañero descubrió mi amor por Taylor Swift y me regaló un sticker de la diva.

La última evaluación fue realizar una exposición de artistas famosos desde la época de los 50's hasta los 90's. Mi compañera y yo escogimos al Rey del Pop: Michael Jackson, por eso ven fotos con referencias a este ídolo. De igual manera mis compañeros escogieron a otros artistas o personas de gran influencia, y allí les dejo un vistazo de algunos. Lo más retador fue trabajar en equipo —yo feliz hacía todo sola— pero al final terminé rodeada de un grupo súper simpático, empático y divertido. Nadie se reía si te equivocabas; al contrario, te apoyaban. Eso hizo toda la diferencia.

Cierro este nivel con ganas de seguir avanzando. En enero arranco el tercero (son diez niveles)… y allí voy, emocionada por lo que viene 🩵✨

I am taking an English conversation course, and last Saturday I finished the second level. It feels great to practice a language that, in my opinion, is extremely important to learn. I feel that knowing more than one language can bring you great opportunities. Although some things were basic, I really enjoyed improving my pronunciation and listening skills and doing fun activities. On Halloween, we watched the children in the lower levels go from classroom to classroom asking for “trick or treat” (they were so cute). We celebrated Thanksgiving by donating food to institutions, and at Christmas, we did a gift exchange where I got some Christmas stockings and a Lego zebra💗. One of my classmates even discovered my love for Taylor Swift and gave me a sticker of the diva.

The last assignment was to put together an exhibition of famous artists from the 1950s to the 1990s. My partner and I chose the King of Pop: Michael Jackson, which is why you see photos with references to this idol. Similarly, my classmates chose other artists or influential people, and here is a glimpse of some of them. The most challenging part was working as a team—I was happy doing everything on my own—but in the end, I found myself surrounded by a super friendly, empathetic, and fun group. No one laughed if you made a mistake; on the contrary, they supported you. That made all the difference.

I finish this level eager to keep moving forward. In January, I'll start the third one (there are ten levels)... and here I go, excited for what's to come 🩵✨
