Former End of Season + Packs & Daily Surprises
Some delays caused me to not be able to post my typical EOS Rewards post and share with you my thoughts on it. I also had 2 decent packs that were opened and worth sharing plus a top notch Daily Reward chest, so I figured I'd roll it all into one post for your viewing pleasure! This type of post helps highlight the #Play2Earn portion of
@Splinterlands.
How'd the past EOS Go?
I did my fairly typical high push into Gold I ratings and beyond with just a partial Silver deck and staying in Silver until EOS because of lack of power. On the last day I decided to overspend to get myself to 200k CP knowing I likely wouldn't get the value back in the chests, but it was pretty important to reduce how far back my rating droped upon EOS reset. So in the end it was a calculated choice to pay for expensive EOS rentals.
My EOS rewards were... meh
One Djinn Chwala start the opening off nicely, but the rewards unfortunately peaked early and that was as good as it got this time around...
What about those 2 packs?
I've opened a few packs along the way lately, but I have 2 that are worth sharing!
The first is from earlier this month and actually was on my Cat's birthday! I got junk on a few packs from my main account (under $1 value), but when I tried opening one on my cat's account, she was well rewarded 😺
Not only did we receive a Legendary, but there was also a rather valuable Gold Foil Common too! Happy Birthday, indeed!
Then about a week ago we opened a pretty respectable pack for not having any Epics nor Legendaries:
Check that out, 2 Gold Foils and not just 2 Rares, but 2 Summoners! (If only the summoners were gold 🤣)
A Daily Quest to Share too?
To finish off the Legendary sharing, I actually have one more Legendary to share with you!
One of my mid-month daily rewards included a shaking chest containing the following:
Harklaw may not be the greatest monster to use in battle, but I will gladly take another copy to hold onto for the future. While I already own a Djinn Oshannus, I am still waiting to earn one in a reward chest... maybe this EOS will be the time?
