Here are two opposing principles
- Respect for private property rights
- Abolition of private property rights
Principle number one is pristine. There can be no exceptions to this principle without violating it. The second principle however can come in many variations. One can violate varying amounts of any given individual's private property rights from very minimal tea leafing to outright plunder. And with the loot one may act with it in varying degrees of partial reparation to outright waste or destruction. Both of the aforementioned adhere to this second principle.
The extreme of principle number two is communism and all governmental debates revolve around the varying degrees of this principle. When a society prioritises principle number one above principle number two, this renders government obsolete.
