Once again I am here to share with you a new artwork inspired by a creature from Holozing. This time the protagonist will be the penguin "Zingu", but more in its realistic version being a real penguin but with that characteristic or nature of ice. At first glance its design appears very noble, sympathetic and very happy, but its size and tender appearance should not deceive its great power. So next I will show you my whole process creating this creature with acrylic paints, I hope you like it!

Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog para todos!
Nuevamente me encuentro por acá para compartirles un nuevo trabajo artístico inspirado en alguna criatura de Holozing. En esta oportunidad el protagonista será el pingüino "Zingu", pero más en su versión realista siendo un pingüino real pero con esa característica o naturaleza de hielo. A simple vista su diseño aparenta mucha nobleza, simpatía y mucha felicidad, pero su tamaño y apariencia tierna no debería engañar su gran poder. Así que a continuación les mostraré todo mi proceso creando esta criatura a base de pinturas acrílicas, espero les guste!
Process || Proceso
The first thing I did was to make the pencil sketch, the guide lines and then proceed with the painting. The idea of the design was to follow a little bit with the original, but I wanted it to be in its realistic version, a real penguin, but without leaving aside its powers and ice-like nature.
Lo primero que hice fue hacer el boceto a lápiz, las líneas guías para luego proceder con la pintura. La idea del diseño fue seguir un poco con el original, solo que este quería que fuera en su versión realista, un pingüino de verdad, pero sin dejar de lado sus poderes y naturaleza tipo hielo.
The next thing I did before painting this creature was to paint what would be the gindo. With purple paint diluted in water I painted horizontally, giving that gradient effect and that will also give a better final finish to the painting. Then I started to paint and create the shadows and effects on the part of his body that would be the wings, ice. Here I had to combine several shades of blue with a little white to make the different crystals, both in the wings, some details on his chest and head.
Lo siguiente que hice antes de ponerme a pintar está criatura fue pintar lo que sería el gindo. Con pintura morada diluida en agua pinte de forma horizontal, dando ese efecto de degradado y que además le dará mejor acabado final a la pintura. Ya después fue empezar a pintar y crear las sombras y efectos en la parte de su cuerpo que sería las alas, hielo. Aquí tuve que combinar varios tonos de azul con un poco de blanco para hacer los diferentes cristales, tanto en las alas, unos detalles en su pecho y en la cabeza.
Finally I finished the details with the missing colors, his body in a darker tone, his little and legs, as well as the details in his eyes. As a touch I also wanted to add frosted glitter in the part of the crystals to make it more eye-catching.
Finalmente le termine de dar los detalles con los colores que faltaban, su cuerpo en un tono más oscuro, su poco y patas, así como los detalles en su ojos. Cómo toque también le quise agregar brillo escarchado en la parte de los cristales para hacerlo más llamativo.

Here I show you the finished drawing of Zingu the little penguin, the cute little ice creature.
Ya aquí les muestro el acabado, el dibujo terminado de Zingu el pequeño pingüino, la simpática criatura tipo hielo.
