Hola amigos || Hello friends
En este nuevo TTT vamos a darle un giro a lo que he venido presentado normalmente en esta iniciativa. Quiero recordar esas canciones que escuchaba cuando era muchísimo más joven y todavía vivía bajo el yugo de mi madre ja ja ja… Canciones que por supuesto todavía hoy las escucho cuando la ocasión lo amerite. Por ejemplo, soy de los que les gusta limpiar con música y de vez en cuando son las canciones que escuchaba de mi madre las que me provoca escuchar. Bueno, gracias a Dios que mi madre tiene aún buenos gustos por la música.
In this new TTT, we're going to take a different approach to what I've normally presented in this initiative. I want to remember those songs I listened to when I was much younger and still lived under my mother's thumb, ha ha ha... Songs that I still listen to today when the occasion calls for it. For example, I'm one of those people who likes to clean with music, and from time to time, it's the songs I listened to with my mother that I feel like listening to. Well, thank God my mother still has good taste in music.
Casualmente en estos días estando de visita en casa de mi madre, ella estaba en la sala de la casa tranquila, tejiendo, escuchando música y compartiendo con mis hermanos. Muchas de las canciones que escuché esa tarde hoy tienen más o menos unos 30 o más año de existencia y son canciones que sin duda aún resuenan en los auriculares y en las listas de reproducción. Estas canciones no solo fueron éxitos sino que definieron estilos, inspiraron a toda una generación de artistas y dejaron huellas en la cultura popular que hoy persiste en samples, referencias en cine y momentos de nostalgia compartida como por ejemplo, esa tarde en casa mi mamá.
Coincidentally, while visiting my mother's house recently, she was sitting quietly in the living room, knitting, listening to music, and spending time with my siblings. Many of the songs I heard that afternoon are now around 30 years old or more, and they are songs that undoubtedly still resonate in headphones and playlists. These songs were not only hits, but they defined styles, inspired a whole generation of artists, and left their mark on popular culture, which persists today in samples, references in films, and moments of shared nostalgia, such as that afternoon at my mother's house.
