You Betray Me

We were younger then and you stole my pencils my books and my drawings and still that wasn't enough

Now a little bit older then you stole this fragile heart and then walked all over it like it didn't mean a thing

You betray me recklessly 'til there's no space left but your eyes hold intimacies that makes me bleed deep

I want to paint your pictures and love you in so many ways but you have two faces that leaves me in all the rage

You walk into my life now with big lies as promises night by night in your arms everything else is forgotten

I know the storms are here and you betray me again with a lingering kiss and a soft sound of your silence

An original poem by me.
