What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that pays out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total power up the balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of over 28%.
(Example of how the HIVE income pool is worked out)
- EDS is pegged to 1 HIVE per token
- 12% of over 104,000 HIVE POWER pays out (104,000*12/52.18) 240 per week
- EDS in circulation each yield (240/40,000) 0.006 HIVE per week
- 0.006 each week for 1 year (52.18) equals 0.31 HIVE
- 1 EDS pays out a HIVE income of roughly 31% per year
EDS tokens launched with a hardcap of 500,000 and a public sale of 20,000 tokens each issued for 1 HIVE each. There are 2 ways to mint new EDS tokens. 1 is by owning and staking either EDS miners (EDSM) are EDS mini miners (EDSMM) tokens and 2 is delegations HIVE POWER to @eds-vote. EDS Miners yield roughly 20% per year and EDS-vote yields around 4-5%.
EDS converts all earnings, airdrops, tribe tokens into HIVE. This account is 100% focused on powering up as much HIVE as possible. It's just that single-minded. This projects weekly saving club content is run by @shanibeer and wallet by @silverstackeruk both on behalf of SPinvest. This is a long term project and should be viewed as a token to stack up and HODL. Buy some miners, let them mint you some EDS tokens, build a pile and collect weekly HIVE dividends. In other words, buy some EDSM miners and forget about it. Add a few every week/month and watch your EDS pile grow. You can also buy EDS directly from the market, if you add a buy order for any amount at 1 HIVE each, it'll get filled. It might take a few days but it'll get filled as some miners like to sell their mining rewards right away to lock in them profits.

Let's get a look at the charts this week
We've over 50k EDS in circulation, thats 10% of the total supply out there is in diamond hand wallets. The only way to get them to own EDS miners (EDSM & EDSMM), delegate HP to @eds-vote and send HBD to @eds-d in exchange for EDSD tokens. Why not do all 3!
We minted 426 EDS this week. 302 from both EDS miners, 101 from @eds-vote and 23 from EDSD (only 3 weeks old). This is equal to over 22k per year so we're deffo minting faster than ever 😁
HP growth was over 330 this week and when checking back, this is the most we've ever powered up in 1 week so amazing stuff. Let's hope it's the first of many. At this current rate against our 110,979 HP balance, our HP growth is 15.7%. And you know what, it's going to increase by another 50 HIVE per week soon because I'll be upping the powerdown from eds-vote from 150 to 200 per week.
You can see in the above chart from week 53 onwards that growth has been speeding up. Look at the 10-12 candles that start from 53 and then look at the last 10-12 candles and you can see it better. From week 53, it looks flat and the last 10-12 candles still have more of an increase each week. This should continue to grow thanks mainly to eds-vote and eds-d because they are the things boasting it. We'd have powered up 140 HP this week without them 🤔
A good power-up week means a good HIVE income pool increase. The pool has grown by 0.76 HIVE this week which is very good. If we can increase the amount of HP growth we get every week by 35%, we'll be increasing the income pool by at least 1 HIVE each week. Many will remember way back in the day, weekly income increases were 0.03-0.05 HIVE per week so to see it growing by 0.76 HIVE in 1 week blows my mind.
The total income pool this week is 255.23 HIVE
Damn, that chart is looking nasty, haha. So good news, the EDS APY decline was 0.15% this week, the same as last week making it 2 in a row. If the decline is the same next week, we've crossed another hurdle, The next target will be -0.14% per week as we get closer to 0.00% and then the flip to ever-increasing APY forever, for 100 years until HIVE is mainstream and we're all drinking fancy beers on Mars with an AI Elon and we're 100 years in the future still collecting EDS income payments, buying Lambos to burn out in fields for fun and doing other rich people stuff.
This week, we finished with an EDS APY of 26.45%. It should be 26.30% next week. Over a year of weekly APY declines and still kicking ass!
How do you build a HIVE income that only ever increases over time?
If the EDS project sounds right up your street, there are 2 ways to get your hands on EDS tokens. Building a HIVE income is one of those things when it's better to get started sooner than later. We all put money aside for a pension/old age with the money we earn from jobs, why not do the same with blockchain earnings? Weekly Roundup
Smashed it again. It's hard to stop winning over here. Im personally blown away by the HP growth of the account. 15.7% growth is way above my projections pre eds-vote and EDSD. As I said above, when I start the new eds-vote powerdown, we'll be powering up 50 more HIVE each week which is around 15% more than we are currently and gives me enough info to ballpark say the HP growth will increase to 18%. To put it another way, the eddie-earner HP could increase by 20k per year which is mind-blowing.
It is blowing because remember we're paying out over 15k in HIVE a year as weekly income payments to EDS token holders as well. Crazy stuff man.
