This weekend was all about hanging out.
And when we, grown boys, hang out, it is essential to eat something, but also to drink something.
The only thing is that the emphasis is neither on the food we eat, nor on the drinks we drink.
Socializing and talking are the only things that matter.
However, the taste of the food leaves me in the memory to recommend, and the taste of one beer I drank deserves to be mentioned here in #BeerSaturday
First, we found ourselves in a small taverna, where we drank Zaječar beer with kebabs with onions and fries, sauerkraut and marinated bread.
It is an industrial light beer, containing 4.5% alcohol, with a long tradition of preparation, brewed since 1895.
With kebabs, we had a pleasant refreshment, but I could not write anything more about this beer.
It is drunk as a refreshing drink, instead of water.
After that, we moved with our partners to a slightly more serious pub, "Žirafa".
Ambience - a real pub, with a large number of taps and a large selection of bottled craft beer. As for the beers on tap, they had several beers available.
From the menu, we chose a little more serious food, Sausages with cheese and chicken wings, marinated in sauce and salted.
And here, as in the previous tavern, there were plenty of potatoes.
In Žirafa, we always order Bavarian pretzels with our food.
The combination of a slightly drier pretzel dough goes perfectly with the juicy sausage stuffed with cheese.
As for the beer, I chose the draft from Tron Brewery, Scorpio, a typical American IPA, with a well-rounded bitterness and aroma of passion fruit.
The foam is thin and doesn't hold well. the color is beautiful yellow and the taste of the beer is phenomenal.
You can feel the notes of tropical fruit, which is due to the hops.
One after another, Tron Scorpio was drunk, fitting perfectly with delicious sausages, and as an ideal refreshment after spicy chicken wings.
Tron Scorpio is a product of Tron Brewery, and it has 6.3% alcohol, and its bitterness is 44 IBU.
I've already had one of Tron Brewery's beers,
Azzaca Brut IPA, and I can tell you that this Scorpio is just as interesting.
Now I have "dry" days, and although I can't enjoy interesting beers, I can think about them and prepare some new tasting for the next weekend.
