Haha, seriously my name is Andrew. I'm new to the community here, a little less new to Splinterlands, not at all new to cryptocurrency in general. Just you're average kind of young adult dad. I play music, I like video games, DIY is fun, my kid is awesome, I work a lot, etc.
As I've become more involved and more invested in the Hive Ecosystem and the Splinterlands game I see an incredible amount of potential....and noo i'm not talking moonboy "this one omegatokenz is legit.....when lambo?" cheerleading. I mean in the since that so much of Hive is designed to work so well together and it holistically presents a much more transparent version of the "Web 3.0". Having said that, there's tons of things i'm still learning and I know the amount of information that gets thrown at people new to this from every which direction is like trying to sip through a firehose.
In the coming days and weeks, I'm going to be taking some time and writing some guides with the same tone and presence of this one (kinda like you're reading my inner monologue straight off the screen). Hopefully you either find my writing "style" as something that comes across humble, approachable, and credible and if I'm lucky, maybe even a bit enjoyable.
