DUTY POST
An idle hand has being liken to devil workshop since time immemorial because it makes your one vulnerable to wrong doing. But the issue here is not that of and idle homo sapiens (human) but a question to the engaged hand.
You will agree with me that whatever a man is engage with have responsibilities attached to it and doing and fulfilling those responsibilities is our duty.
Unfortunately, people standing at there duty post is now becoming scare, many claim to have a work but are not working, many are leaders just by title whose followers have lost interest in, or what can we can a politician whose behaviour after assuming office is the exact opposite of what s/he promised during campaign and many more examples that can make a weary soul to conclude that hardworking no longer have value on this planet earth.
However, few still remain unmoveable despite the storm, they have resolve to the motto "I will be a good soldier, I die at my post" but what sadden the heart is that the number of such people compare to others is just like comparing a drop of what to an ocean. This issue is not limited to any sector as it cut across different sectors like education (teachers/lecturers not teaching students effectively), science (many researchers who have integrity), our economic is not left out too and many others sectors too. Thinking about these issue do leave us with the question of who will rescue us? But the bitter truth is that we must all rise up and man our post with the whole of our strength.
