This was my Mother's Day, a special day, which I shared with my family, who spoiled me throughout the day.
I started my day by calling my mom, whom I miss very much, and on days like these I miss her even more. At the beginning of the year I set out to spend this day with her, but despite my best efforts, it was not possible. But I hope to have the opportunity to share other special dates with her, thank goodness, that technology makes me feel closer to her. Hearing her voice and knowing that she is well, makes me feel happy.
My little boy was hiding the card he made at his school all weekend long. It was very funny, because he was trying his best not to get caught. His dad was his accomplice and I know it may sound cliché, but these gifts that are not worth anything financially are the most valuable and the ones that are never forgotten.
My husband, along with my child, were in charge of the kitchen that day and spoiled me with delicious food, not only me but the rest of the family. My sister-in-law surprised us with a nice gift: beautiful everlasting flowers, a bracelet and make-up. It was a very nice gesture on her part.
We had lunch as a family as we usually do on special occasions and had a great time together. We had fun taking pictures and had a good time.When the afternoon came, I went out with my son and husband for a walk around the city.It was a refreshing and enjoyable walk.Our Sunday ended quietly, relaxing at home; it was one of those wonderful days that fills the soul.
Simply a great day.
Así fue mi día de las madres, un día especial, el cual compartí con mi familia, quienes me consistieron durante todo el día.
Inicié mi día llamando a mi mamá, a quien extraño mucho, y en días como estos la extraño mucho más. Al comienzo de año me propuse pasar este día con ella, pero a pesar de mis esfuerzos, no fue posible. Pero espero tener la oportunidad de compartir otras fechas especiales a su lado, menos mal, que la tecnología hace que pueda sentirla más cerca. Al escuchar su voz y saber que se encuentra bien, me hace sentir feliz.
Mi niño estuvo escondiendo la tarjeta que realizó en su escuela, durante todo el fin de semana. Era muy gracioso, porque hacía lo posible para que no lo descubriera. Su papá fue su cómplice y sé que puede sonar cliché, pero estos regalos que no valen nada económicamente son los más valiosos y los que nunca se olvidan.
Mi esposo, junto a mi niño, estuvieron encargados de la cocina ese día y me consintieron con comida deliciosa, no solo a mí sino al resto de la familia. Mi cuñada nos sorprendió con un lindo regalo: unas flores eternas muy hermosas, además una pulsera y maquillaje. Fue un gesto muy lindo de su parte.
Almorzamos en familia como acostumbramos hacerlo en las fechas especiales y pasamos un grato momento juntos. Nos divertimos tomándonos fotos y la pasamos bien. Cuando llegó la tarde, salí con mi hijo y mi esposo a dar un paseo por la ciudad. Fue una caminata refrescante y agradable. Nuestro domingo terminó tranquilo, relajados en casa; fue de esos días maravillosos que llenan el alma. Simplemente, un gran día.
