We often experience hardships in life every now and then. But it is important to bear in mind that not all hardships come from God.
2 Thessalonians 1:6
Since indeed God deems it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you and to grant rest with us to you who are afflicted.
7.When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire.
In verse 6 there are affliction and hardships inflicted by men not by God.
And Apostle Paul is talking about the justice of God to the members of the church in Thessalonica. In the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ those that afflicted us will be afflicted also. Therefore not all affliction and hardships come from God.
The truth of the matter is there are people who do not fear God. They afflict people without a cause. We must not doubt God because God does not afflict us without a cause. Maybe hardships are coming to us because of our sins, our transgressions but without a cause. If we obey we can be sure that we are safe from affliction that may come from God.
God will not afflict anyone without cause or God punish anyone without cause.
Lamentations 3:33
For he does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
This is a truth that we must know, and so we must not blame God in every affliction or hardship that is coming to anyone. If one is righteous and following God's will, no affliction will come to them. That will not be permitted by God.
God is not a God of injustice. He is always a God of justice. The problem is that people sometimes people miscalculate or misinterpret things which the Bible do not teach us.
