Hello, friends especially needleworkers!

Piglet is the only one cartoon character that I've loved the most since I was a child. I still remember (it was like just yesterday) when i had my very first Piglet plushie. It had the scarf with lavender color. So cute and adorable, it was really comfy to hug.

I also still remember the pink bedcover with many Piglets on the upper side which Mom bought me from Bali. I used for many years then. Even now, i still had some Piglet and of course Winnie the Pooh collection of things. You could see that i have some things with their pictures on it. I have plushie of course, fridge magnet, note books, and so on.

I was so in love with piglet when I was in elementary school and the second thing i loved the most was cross stitch. I even made a cross stitch then exchanged it with my best friend, i still remember that i made a turtle that day. 

So then when i made this piglet cross stitch, made me remember of my happy childhood... somehow it made me feel much younger!

I started my piglet cross stitch from the left ear. Even when i haven't done any cross stitch projects recently, i still remember how to do it perfectly. yeay and hooray, Well it is my first love in needlework thing, so it is not surprising that i still could do my stitching well. And after the left ear i made the right ear. Still with double strands of same pink thread, i made his nose. Nose were not fully made of cross stitch, some only half of the cross stitch.

For the mouth i used another shade of pink thread, this time lighter.

Next, i continued cross stitching the head and one hand. Then the other hand. After that i made the body, then two legs and feet. Now, i already finished with the Piglet.

I started to cross stitch the butterfly near to Piglet. After i finally finished it, i made Piglet's both eyes with the french knot. I used double strands of black thread for the eyes.

Last thing, i made the borderline by using back stitch with single strand of black thread.

Voila, here it is...

Piglet with butterfly cross stitch is finished. Isn't it adorable?
