Blessings my dear beautiful and animal lovers 🐈 I'm going to tell you this story because it really left its mark on me and it's so cute! 🐱 One day I went to my best friend's house, as usual, to joke around, talk, and hang out... But that day I found a very precious surprise, a tiny little kitten that he had rescued from the street. 🙀 He found her all dying, dehydrated, and with her eyes half closed, as if life had already tired her out. He took her to the vet and they told him she was barely two weeks old. She was a tiny, newborn, and defenseless! 😿 My friend Wilmer couldn't keep her because he already has several animals at home and that's complicated for him (food and such). But since he has a tremendous heart, he wasn't going to leave that poor cat on the street. So he took her to his room and started doing her things for her. He vaccinated her, fed her, and cared for her as if she were a human baby. But he did so with the hope of finding her a home soon.

Bendiciones mis queridos bellos y amantes de los animales 🐈 Les voy a echar este cuento porque de pana me marcó y es muy cuchi! 🐱 Un día fui a casa de mi mejor amigo, como de costumbre, a echar broma, hablar y pasar el rato... Pero ese día me encontré con una sorpresa muy preciosa una gatica chiquitica, que él había rescatado de la calle. 🙀 La encontró toda moribunda, deshidratada y con los ojitos medio cerrados, como si la vida ya la tuviera cansada. La llevó al veterinario y le dijeron que tenía como dos semanas apenas. Era una pequeñita recién nacida e indefensa! 😿 Mi amigo Wilmer, no podía quedarse con ella porque ya tiene varios animales en su casa y eso se le complica (alimento y demás). Pero como es tremendo corazón de pollo, no la iba a dejar en la calle a esa pobre gata. Entonces se la llevó para su cuarto y le empezó a hacer sus cosas la vacunó, le dio comidita, la cuidó como si fuera un bebé humano. Pero eso sí, con la esperanza de encontrarle pronto un hogar.
The cat was a sweetheart. Calm, quiet, unlike those boisterous cats we know. She didn't make a fuss, she didn't scratch anything, she just stood there, as if observing, learning about her surroundings. He called her "the girl with the sad eyes" because she had a look in her eyes that you couldn't tell if it was from sleep, pain, or one of those looks that carry history. As if she'd already been through so much in her short life. 🐾 That day the power went out at his house; they cut off electricity a lot in my country. I was exhausted, and I said to him: "Dude, I'm going to lie on your bed for a while." I lay down and fell asleep. After a while, I felt something purring near me. I opened my eyes, and it was her, the kitten, curled up next to me, all warm, calm, as if she'd known me forever. It was so sweet that I grabbed my phone and recorded the moment, because she started playing with a collar I was wearing. It almost brought a tear to my eye because of the tenderness I felt seeing her playing while I was sleeping.

La gata era un amor. Tranquila, silenciosa, diferente a esos gatos escandalosos que uno conoce. No hacía bulla, no rascaba nada, solo estaba ahí, como observando, aprendiendo del entorno. Él la llamaba “la muchacha de los ojos tristes” porque tenía una mirada que uno no sabe si era de sueño, de dolor o de esas miradas que cargan historia. Como si en su cortica vida ya hubiese pasado por mucho. 🐾 Ese día en su casa se fue la luz, la energía eléctrica la cortan mucho en mi país. Yo estaba cansadísima y le dije: “Chamo, me voy a tirar en tu cama un ratico”. Me acosté y me quedé frita. Al rato, siento algo ronroneando cerca de mí. Abro los ojos, y era ella, la gatica, acurrucada a mi lado, toda calientica, tranquila, como si me conociera de siempre. Fue tan lindo eso que agarré el teléfono y grabé el momento, porque se puso a jugar con un collar que yo tenía puesto. Casi me saca una lagrimita de l ternura que me dio verla jugando mientras yo dormía.

And well, luckily, a few days later, someone appeared who adopted her. Someone cool, responsible, who truly loved her. She brought us enormous joy. She didn't need to speak or stay for years. All it took was her gaze, the way she fell asleep next to me, and that soft purr that soothed my soul.

Bastó su mirada, su forma de quedarse dormida a mi lado, y ese ronroneo bajito que me calmó el alma.
The girl with the sad eyes now has a home. But I'll always remember her as that special person who came into my life to teach me that sometimes, even a rescued animal can rescue you.
