Broken Arrow is a ruleset where all ranged monsters may not be used in battles. Even those monsters that have 2 types of attack like Runemancer Florre that have 2 magic attacks and 2 ranged attacks. As long as it has a ranged attack it can't be used in battles.

Earth splinter is not active so I think my opponent will not use Life splinter with sustaining team. There is a chance that my opponent will use water or fire splinter with all melee attacks. So I choose water splinter and pick those monsters that can reduce melee attacks.

Round 1
- My opponent uses Lux Vega with Baakjira in the first position and all his attackers are melee monsters.
- My tactics for demoralizing my opponent's melee monsters are succeed. I have 3 monsters with demoralize abilities. Opponent Deeplurker and Doctor Blight are the only monsters that can give damage more than 1.
- Legionnaire Alvar gets poisoned by opponent Deeplurker.
Round 2 to 3
- In Round 2, Kulu Mastermind and Deeplurker attack miss hitting Legionnaire Alvar.
- Round 3, Legionnaire Alvar is killed by poison and Deeplurker.
- My Deeplurker kills Isgald Vorst.
- One of my team with Demoralize ability is down so my opponent's melee attacks increase by 1.
Round 4 to 5
- Round 4, my Deeplurker is down.
- In this round, finally tank is killed. Opponent don't have any monster that can counter magic damage.
- Round 5, Flying Squid is killed by Kulu Mastermind.
- Djinn Oshannus get poisoned and Nerissa Tridawn kills opponent Deeplurker.
Round 6 to 7
- In round 6, Djinn Oshannus kill Noa The Just.
- In round 7, Djinn Oshannus is killed by poison.
- Nerissa Tridawn and Phantom of the Abyss kill Kulu Mastermind.
Round 8 to 9
- My remaining monster is Nerissa Tridawn and Phantom of the Abyss with a total of 9 magic damage.
- Doctor Blight is the only monster remaining on my opponent's side. With 2 magic damage and 14 health.
- I have enough damage to kill Doctor Blight so I win this battle.

With the Broken Arrow ruleset, it is clear that your opponent will choose either magic or melee attacks. So choose a monster that can reduce those attacks. For melee monsters, you can use monsters with Demoralize abilities or use a summoners that have thorn abilities which is Mylor. For Magic Attack, you can counter this by choosing a summoner with void ability or void armor ability. Also, try to reduce magic damage by picking monsters with Silence Ability.
