Sono felice di partecipare al #21 contest questa settimana su Olio di Balena! Il tema è “Il miglior consiglio che ho ricevuto (o che darei) per avere successo su Hive”.

Iniziamo!
A premise: I don’t feel like the best person to give advice on Hive, because I think I still have a long way to go on the platform! Fortunately, however, in these years I have met valuable people who I aspire to every day for my business, and who have given me good advice.
On Hive it is better to give than to receive!
this is the best advice I can share for anyone who wants to start this adventure on the platform!
What am I referring to?
- Reading and commenting: creating relationships is an interesting, easy and fast way to make your work known. If you read other users' posts, leaving honest and constructive feedback, it’s likely that they will also take a look at your Blog and see what you do. I always do it!
This has allowed me over the years to discover interesting users and I have returned several times to see what they had published in the following weeks, creating a "flow" between my Blog and theirs;
Premessa: non mi sento la persona migliore per dare consigli su Hive, perché penso di avere ancora molta strada da fare sulla piattaforma! Fortunatamente, però, in questi anni ho conosciuto persone di valore a cui mi aspiro ogni giorno per la mia attività, e che mi hanno dato buoni consigli.
Su Hive è meglio dare che ricevere!
questo è il miglior consiglio che posso condividere per chiunque voglia cominciare questa avventura sulla piattaforma!
A cosa mi riferisco?
- Leggere e commentare: creare relazioni è un modo interessante, facile e veloce per far conoscere il proprio lavoro. Se leggi i post degli altri utenti, lasciando feedback sinceri e costruttivi, è probabile che anche loro faranno un giro sul tuo Blog e guarderanno di cosa ti occupi. Io lo faccio sempre!
Questo mi ha permesso negli anni di scoprire utenti interessanti e sono tornata diverse volte a vedere che cosa avessero pubblicato nelle settimane successive, creando un “flusso” tra il mio Blog e il loro;
Delegate: a part of your Hive Power can be delegated to projects you believe in or to new users who need support. I think this activity is very important to grow the community. Furthermore, some curation projects "pay back" those who delegate, distributing the rewards, so the economic loss is not high.
Some users on Hive don’t have a way to fully exploit their Hive Power during the day, while by making it available to others you are sure that it will not be wasted;
Bring value: when you donate your knowledge on a topic, you contribute to the collective knowledge. When you sow value, it grows and comes back when you least expect it!
In my case, I talk about travel tips, science pills or book reviews, and I always do it with the aim of helping the people who are reading me by providing information that they will remember. In the same way, I have read posts from users with whom I interact.
Delegare: una parte del proprio Hive Power può essere delegata a progetti in cui credi oppure a utenti nuovi che hanno bisogno di supporto. Penso che questa attività sia molto importante per far crescere la community. Inoltre, alcuni progetti di curation “pagano indietro” coloro che fanno le deleghe, distribuendo le ricompense, quindi la perdita economica non è elevata.
Alcuni utenti su Hive non hanno modo di sfruttare a pieno il proprio Hive Power durante la giornata, mentre mettendolo a disposizione degli altri si ha la certezza che non vada sprecato;
Portare valore: quando si dona la propria conoscenza su un argomento, si contribuisce al sapere collettivo. Quando semini valore, questo cresce e torna indietro quando meno te lo aspetti!
Nel mio caso, parlo di consigli di viaggio, pillole di scienza o recensioni di libri, e lo faccio sempre nell’ottica di aiutare le persone che mi stanno leggendo portando informazioni che potranno ricordare. Allo stesso modo, mi è capitato di leggere post di utenti con cui interagisco.
Even from a more sentimental point of view, giving is better than receiving! We are talking about virtuous circles: if everyone just posts and then disappears, the Hive community empties quickly! If, on the other hand, everyone offers their own idea, the collective wealth grows.
I admit that at the beginning I didn't apply this advice: I just published my posts, trying to make them as interesting and nice as possible, and I didn't comment on those of other users. As time went by, however, I learned the importance of this activity and I must say that my profile has improved.
Anche dal punto di vista più sentimentale, dare è meglio che ricevere! Si parla proprio di circoli virtuosi: se ognuno si limita a postare e poi a sparire, la community di Hive si svuota in fretta! Se, invece, ognuno offre la propria idea, la ricchezza collettiva cresce.
Ammetto che all’inizio non applicavo questo consiglio: mi limitavo a pubblicare i miei post, cercando di farli più interessanti e graziosi possibile, e non commentavo quelli degli altri utenti. Con il passare del tempo, invece, ho imparato l’importanza di questa attività e devo dire che il mio profilo è migliorato.
