Hola amigos, quiero compartir que recientemente me llegó una noticia lamentable, ya que nuestro colega de tantos años que trabajaba como director en la institución donde yo laboraba ha fallecido. La verdad es que, aunque comprendemos que la muerte forma parte de nuestra existencia, de alguna forma nos deja con un profundo dolor y tristeza.
La muerte es el evento más desgarrador que podemos vivir en nuestra existencia, ya que despedir a alguien querido nos causa una profunda tristeza. Por lo tanto, al recibir la noticia del fallecimiento del director del colegio, me invadió la tristeza de inmediato; compartimos tantos años en la escuela y formábamos una gran familia. Al reencontrarme con tantas colegas de trabajo, a pesar de las circunstancias adversas que enfrentábamos, me llené de emoción, ya que hacía años que no nos veíamos, aunque desafortunadamente, esto suele ocurrir en tales momentos.
Hello friends, I want to share that I recently received some sad news, as our colleague of many years who worked as a director in the institution where I worked has passed away. The truth is that, although we understand that death is part of our existence, somehow it leaves us with a deep pain and sadness.
Death is the most heartbreaking event that we can experience in our existence, since saying goodbye to someone dear to us causes us deep sadness. Therefore, upon receiving the news of the death of the school principal, I was immediately overcome with sadness; we shared so many years at the school and formed a big family. When I was reunited with so many work colleagues, despite the adverse circumstances we were facing, I was filled with emotion, as it had been years since we had seen each other, although unfortunately, this usually happens at such times.
Me gustaría compartir con ustedes que al Director Daniel le gustaba vernos juntos y disfrutaba pasando tiempo con todos nosotros. Siempre estaba disponible para escucharnos y apoyarnos. En verdad, su tiempo como director en la escuela fue muy bueno para todos nosotros; era muy amable y quería vernos felices. Por eso, cuando llegó el momento de despedirnos de él, decidimos rendirle homenaje. Uno de nuestros compañeros le dijo unas palabras, cantamos para él y nos hicimos algunas fotos para recordarle, aunque fuera un momento triste.
I would like to share with you that Director Daniel liked to see us together and enjoyed spending time with all of us. He was always available to listen and support us. Indeed, his time as director at the school was very good for all of us; he was very kind and wanted to see us happy. So when it was time to say goodbye to him, we decided to pay tribute to him. One of our classmates said a few words to him, we sang for him and took some pictures to remember him, even if it was a sad moment.
Quiero compartir que estuve en la escuela por más de 25 años y durante ese tiempo me sentí parte de una gran familia. Siempre traté a mis colegas con respeto y allí forjé amistades que durarán toda la vida; algunas se convirtieron en mis hermanas y otras en mis comadres. Soy tía de muchos de sus hijos. Despedirme de nuestro compañero Daniel me causó tristeza y melancolía. El tiempo que pasamos con él fue un momento, por lo que le recordaremos como alguien muy especial. Así que entre lágrimas también hubo risas, porque así es, como le recordaremos, como un hombre dedicado a su trabajo, muy carismático y con un excelente sentido del humor.
I want to share that I was at the school for more than 25 years and during that time I felt part of a big family. I always treated my colleagues with respect and there I forged friendships that will last a lifetime; some became my sisters and others my comadres. I am the aunt of many of their children. Saying goodbye to our colleague Daniel caused me sadness and melancholy. The time we spent with him was a moment, so we will remember him as someone very special. So amidst tears there was also laughter, because that is how we will remember him, as a man dedicated to his work, very charismatic and with an excellent sense of humor.
Los amigos también estamos para los momentos tristes y los momentos de alegría, así que ese día nos reunimos para despedir a nuestro querido amigo y colega Daniel. Su recuerdo perdurará en nuestros corazones.
We friends are also there for the sad moments and the moments of joy, so that day we gathered to say goodbye to our dear friend and colleague Daniel. His memory will live on in our hearts.
