Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.
Today I’m sharing a new piece of art with you. I decided to create a decorative figure inspired by the character “Spirit of the Forest,” using the 2D quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.
Para hoy les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, decidí realizar una figura decorativa inspirada en el personaje "Spirit of the Forest", en 2D en la técnica de quilling.

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Cristal de bisutería.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
• Quilling paper.
• Quilling needle.
• Cardstock.
• Paper cutter.
• Beads.
• Extra-strong white glue (woodworking glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.
• My centerpiece will be based on leaves of various designs, sizes, and colors, so I used 3mm-wide quilling paper in different shades of green. I started with the darkest green, took a strip, wound it around the needle until I reached the end, removed it from the needle, loosened it slightly, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to form an open circle.
• Using the same method with the different shades of green, I made other open circles of various sizes, as you can see in the image.
• Once the circles were ready, I shaped them into leaves of different designs.
• I assembled all the leaves to my liking.
• Mi pieza central estará basada en hojas de diversos diseños, tamaños y colores, por ello tome cinta para quilling de 3mm de ancho de diferentes tonalidades de verde, comencé con el verde más oscuro, tome una cinta, enrollé con la aguja hasta llegar al final de la misma, saqué de la aguja solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, para obtener un círculo abierto.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores con las diferentes tonalidades de verde, realicé otros círculos abiertos de diversos tamaños como pueden observar en la imagen.
• Una vez listos los círculos, procedí a moldearlos en forma de hojas de distintos diseños.
• Ensamble todas las hojas a mi gusto.

• I made some branches using brown ribbon, which I crumpled up a bit, and placed one in the middle of the assembled leaves.
• I made a second double branch, adding a few leaves to its tips.
• I tied together ribbons in the three shades of green and used them to create a spiral-like decoration at the ends.
• I glued the branch with leaves and the decorative spiral to the sides of the central piece.
• To decorate it and give it the touch that the character has on its head, I made an open red circle with 3mm-wide ribbon, which I shaped into a teardrop. I attached this piece to a piece of jewelry glass and placed it in the center of the central piece.
• And just like that, this 2D decorative figure I created—inspired by elements of the character from the "Spirit of the Forest" card—is ready.
• Realicé unas ramas tomando cinta de color marrón, la cual arrugue un poco, coloqué una en medio de las hojas ensambladas.
• Realicé una segunda rama doble, a la cual en sus puntas le añadí algunas hojas.
• Uní cintas de las tres tonalidades de verdes, con ellas realicé una especie de decoración con espirales en las puntas.
• Pegué la rama con hojas y el espiral decorativo, a los lados de la pieza central.
• Para decorar y darle el toque que tiene el personaje en la cabeza, realicé un círculo abierto de color rojo con cinta de 3mm de ancho, el cual moldee en forma de gota, tomé esta pieza junto a un cristal de bisutería y coloqué en medio de la pieza central.
• De esta manera tenemos lista esta figura decorativa en 2D que elabore, inspirada en elementos del personaje de la carta "Spirit of the Forest".
