"Sepulka", the robot developed in the experimental laboratory of the Soviet company Znanie (knowledge) in 1962.
It was able to speak, move, weighed 49 kg and was 1 meter and 70 centimeters tall. The text that "Sepulka" spoke was recorded on a built-in microphone, stylized as a mouth; the robot was guided remotely.
Surprisingly, the robot became a real guide for tourists at the museum of the Moscow Polytechnic.
In the bright future of communism it would be the duty of robots to work hard, while the Soviet people would take advantage of self-development by engaging in the colonization of Mars.
Even young pioneers and schoolchildren tried their hand at building robots.
