far from ideal

We must admit that true independence is still far from its ideal condition. Sovereignty as a nation that should be able to lead us to a condition of true independence is still just a slogan. The blessings of abundant natural resources that we have should be able to support ourselves without having to depend on foreign parties. The impressive economic growth in recent years has not been of sufficient quality because it is mostly supported by the consumption sector. Indonesia is considered nothing more than a soft market for imported commodities and a cheap labor barn by multinational companies.

The rapid flow of foreign investment entering the country has ultimately crushed the local economy and has had an impact on the stagnation of national industrial growth. This is exacerbated by the uneven concentration of the economy throughout Indonesia. Accumulated social inequality has ultimately transformed into horizontal conflict, increasingly severe poverty and the marginalization of the marginalized. This time bomb could explode at any time and threaten our sovereignty as a great nation.
