ONE YEAR IN HIVE?
There is a question mark and pre 1st year on my title here is my explanation. A year ago I got onboarded on Hive through my friend
@leveluplifeph. He told me about Splinterlands on how you play it. Well to be honest I'm not interested in it (My brain was on Mars back then 🤣). I created an account he bought me spellbook and that's the end of it.
Around April I went to Samar and he explained to me about the #hive Blockchain (My first post was April 24, 2024 introduction).
@leveluplifeph is a teacher that doesn't teach you, I know because we are friends for almost two decades now. He knows me inside out and vice versa. As a student you listen but you need to take actions also, back in the days you go to the library now in this new age all the available information is just one click of a button.
By reading a lot, watching other people interact with the #hive blockchain and the mistakes that I did I gained knowledge. I'm still learning about it by reading post, there is so much to learn and I want to gain more knowledge.
Why post it on Splinterlands?
Not knowing what's gonna happen on the price of #hive I decided to diversify and put it on land. My short term goal of 10k HP is short by 811.792HP so I did not achieved it. But hey fortune comes when you least expected it by November #hive pumps.
Breakdown.....
Investment total: Not accurate but around Php 120,000 or $2049.71 (market as of today)
4,199.321 HP powered down and goes to
@splinterlands cards, lands and LP.
$ 2,543.42 Estimated Account Value as of today (winning).
To answer the question of why Splinterlands I got emotional about the first proposal because of the lack of support from people who
@Slobberchops describe them as Leeching Arseholes! Which is true and I recognize that and
@Slobberchops post is the same. With every relationship it should be give and take (reciprocate) same as irl, business and investments. It's not gonna work with take and take and take imho. I totally understand some people do it, short term mindset I was that guy before and I'm still learning how to adjust on the long term mindset.
Plus when I started engaging with Splinterlands community oh man there are a lot of kind people in there. I cannot name them because if I miss one name they might get mad at me 😂. The love for the game with these people is encouraging for me (Gamer for Life).

A word of advice if someone or something is helping you grow or learn or achieve something we need to learn to give back (support it) even though they are not asking for any in return. Again you can take this advice and throw it away it's just me giving an advice base from my experience.
It's an exciting time for me this year let's see what happens along the way!
As always God bless you all!
