Greetings, friends of Hive, I hope you're all well! Today I'm here to participate in this interesting weekly initiative. I wasn't able to participate in the previous edition due to lack of time and busy schedules. This week, we're focusing on the theme of "destiny," and that's why I'm sharing the album "Destiny" by the band Stratovarius. I love it a lot, as do the band itself. Personally, I'm a bit of an exception when it comes to bands and albums, since I don't usually like all the songs, and this one was no exception. I'm sharing the album, its story, and its meaning. I hope you enjoy it and are encouraged to participate in the initiative.
Stratovarius is a Finnish band of melodic power metal with elements of classical music, founded in 1984 in Helsinki by Tuomo Lassila, John Vihervä and Staffan Stråhlman under the name Black Water. Since 1986 it has been known as Stratovarius (a term invented by Lassila that fuses two musical instruments: Stradivarius, string instruments (such as violins) highly appreciated by musicians; and Stratocaster, (electric guitar model of the Fender brand). [1] Stratovarius is one of the pioneers of power metal and symphonic metal.
Well, I think I explained it a while ago when I wrote a top song list for this band (or album, I don't remember), but I really like this band because of its sound. It makes me feel like I'm in those videos they used to edit where the anime characters were fighting, and it gives it that more "epic" and interesting touch. Besides that, I really like the sound it has, with elements of classical music like guitars, electric pianos, violins, and even a choir.
