Random Unsolicited Gun Advice:
(take it for what it's worth; or leave it)

New Shooters, old folks, people with weak hands or poor fine-motor skills:

I have been mainly recommending the Smith and Wesson 380 EZ Shield. It is a small bullet, so easy to shoot. The gun is big enough to soak up recoil, but small enough to conceal, and the whole thing has been purposely designed to make everything easy to use. Slide is easy to rack, magazine is easy to load, etc. Gun loving guys are going to hate this model for a million reasons. Don't listen to them. If it works best for you, then take it!!!

Person looking for the Single Do-It-All Gun:

Can't go wrong with the Glock 19. This war horse has been the most popular model in America for close to 2 decades now. It is so incredibly popular, that it has spawned a forest of direct peer competitors including the Walther PPQ, the Smith and Wesson 2.0 Compact, the H&K VP9, the CZ P10c, the SIG Sauer P320 Compact etc. It is so popular because it is big enough to be a duty pistol, but small enough to be able to easily conceal. It has an extensive after-market with tons of options for every single part and accessory. Plus the standard litany of reliable, simple, accurate etc.

For Snub-nosed revolvers:

If you are rich – the Kimber K6s or the new Colt Cobra. If you are not rich, then the Ruger LCR, or one of the Smith and Wesson snubbies- take your pick: model 642, 442, 637, 638, 640 etc.

Just some random thoughts that I thought I would jot down and share. Feel free to sound off with your favorite model, and why you like it!!!
