I am Mfreke Ekere Enefiok, the founder of Cypress Events. I am an event planner and consultant with over two years of experience in the events industry creating engaging social and educational events for individual clients and organizations. I have a degree in Microbiology, a Master's degree in Public Health and currently enrolled in a course in event planning and management to develop my skills and expertise.
My attention to details, passion for creativity, planning and organizational skills and the crave for an independent lifestyle led me to become an entrepreneur. Beyond the skills I have developed and the glamour of my business, I have always loved the satisfaction my clients derive from my services.
Furthermore, as an entrepreneur I have the opportunity for relaxation, exercise and vacations. Also each of these activities help me to plan, market and develop my business. My ability to ease the event planning burden of my clients and provide a comfortable living wage for my team members is the driving force that led me into becoming an entrepreneur.
In addition to being an event planner I am very passionate about health and wellness. Aside from working on a cancer awareness project, I am currently working as an LGA-HIV counselor for Family Health International 360 in the SIDHAS(Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV and AIDS Services)project to bring about cART to PLWHA(People Living with HIV/AIDS) in Cross River State.
When I learnt about steemit through Nubian Oracle who happens to be a friend on whatsapp, I became very motivated and my desire to raise people's knowledge on health issues and how they can overcome them became topmost on my list and I plan to do justice on this platform. I have three key areas that I will be steeming on and includes event planning and management, health and lifestyle and living the God's kind of life.
