A little note:
It is approximately 7:30 in the morning when last Sunday I arrived at the competition site. I was a little surprised because I found more people than I imagined and almost festive atmosphere as should be all sports competitions, although the rivalry existed during the course of the meeting "you could smell" fellowship and sportsmanship among competitors, this was maintained throughout the day.
The Triathlon championship was held in the last channel of the Hemingway marina west of Havana. The preparations and the organization of the start began very early in the morning, so my first objective was to photograph what was happening even before the call was made for the men's national team to go to the start of the swim.
The start before the start you could say, this here then is a small selection of images captured in those moments.
