What We Do

We strengthen health systems and train African health workers to respond to the continent's most critical health challenges: maternal health, child health, HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, the lack of access to water and sanitation, and the lack of access to quality diagnostic, and surgical services. We currently have over 130 programs in 30 African countries. Our approach is community-based and makes the people we reach partners, rather than just beneficiaries.
