Sorare.com Playoffs Week 1 | No Rewards

As the weeks go by, I grow less and less interested in Sorare while it used to be such a fun game. The irony of it all is that the game is called sorare while the main issue is that there is such a crazy oversupply on cards based on the player base that it has become impossible to get some kind of reward without getting a near perfect score. On top of this, the process of having to put in 25+ different lineups manually just isn't fun anymore and most the actual matches don't get added an extra layer to them anymore. So far all I care sorare at the moment is pretty dead with little to no tools to revive it.

My best lineup gave 381 points only landing me in the top 30% 14 points shy of some kind of reward. I think one of the main issues and frustrations is the 50% boost on the captain which should be reduced to +20% as it's just a must to have the best player selected which also highers the average scores a lot. I don't think the required highs scores are the biggest problem but the perception that they have to be way higher compared to what it used to be because of the player and captain bonuses.

My 4 main lineups with the players that I have available this week not even bothering with the rest.

As limited teams have lower standard bonus applied to each player, the scores there to get some kind of reward were lower so I earned 9 essence which equals not halt of a Tier 5 card which are worth 0.5$ on average and don't sell.

Filling in the limited lineups really has become a task and kind of feels like a waste of time given how small the actual chance is to win something.

None of the players that I put for sale on the market got sold and I also have no intention to buy any cards anymore.

It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.

Honestly if I could get 900€ for my collection at the moment I probably would just take it and move on from Sorare.

I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

Conclusion

The enjoyment that I'm getting from Sorare surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
