Only 2 weeks left in the league where all of the playoff 2 matches are played for nothing as Charleroi is already certain that they will face the 5th team of playoff 1 for the final European ticket. One match on Friday and I already took some bets early on Club Brugge who should once again just be the better team and win against Anderlecht.
OH Leuven vs Westerlo
So the coach of OHL has been rotating heavily and the team has just not been motivated in any way during these playoffs. This was shown to the extreme last week where they lost 5-0 away against Dender. This made the players pay back the trip of the fans who came along and I'm not sure if this bad result will motivate them to do better today or if they just continue to not care. Before the match the coach stated that 'next week he will put more youngsters in the team and I wonder if this is still the case after the poor performance. I guess it is as he probably already promised them that they would get a chance. So most likely I would say we will see a heavily rotated Leuven today in front of their home fans. Westerlo played a great 1st half away against Charleroi and still seem willing to win even though in the 2nd half they got 3 goals against making them lose with a 4-3 score.Haspolat who is a key midfield players will be suspended for Westerlo but otherwise I see no reason why Simons would not put on his best 11. Right now, I see Westerlo as the better team and did not mind betting 0.2 units on
Westerlo +0.25 @ 1.900 which feels a bit high especially since OHL is the king of the draws which would not be a bad result for them. I would also not be surprised if a cautious start turned into another wild playoff 2 match with a scoreline that has 4+ goals. I took 0.1 unit on
Over 3.25 @ 2.014 with an eye to possibly increase this along the way. The previous encounter ended in a 2-2 draw in Westerlo with 6-10 in corners. Most corner numbers of these teams went over team so the over corners also tempts me and I might take some on that in-game.
