These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, and injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...
Friday was a good start of the playoffs with some initial profit on the match between OHL and Charleroi. I do feel quite locked in at the moment and look forward to the next 3 matches Today...
Beerschot vs Sint-Truiden
Beerschot if they lose today already are mathematically Relegated and I'm quite sure there is nobody in the team who has some park of belief left that they could avoid it with 18 points to win and a 13 points behind. So on the one side they are able to play stress free with nothing to lose while on the other hand they might not have the needed motivation. Sint-Truiden is only 1 point behind on Cercle brugge and 5 points clear of Kortrijk. However, based on their performances it feels like they might have a hard time holding off Kortrijk for 2nd place and a chance to still stay in the league. Their main issue is that they aren't fully forming a team even though they do have the quality. So I fully get that Stvv is the favorite while it would not be a major surprise if Beerschot played freely and took the win. I will just wait and see how it plays out before possibly getting a bet in.

Standard vs Mechelen

So when it comes down to Playoff 2, in the past years there were many matches with 5+ goals which is something I'm kind of keeping an eye on. Standard this season was known as a team who just locked things down defensively which came at the cost of offensive impulses. This put them at a 4W-10.5L-0.5P record on the Over at home against the total handicap. The question now is if they keep this style or try to take a more offensive approach as they have noting to lose. Coach Leko might also kind of make a statement that there needs to come some enforcement with an eye on next season. Mechelen this season is 4W-10L-1P away on the over line so they aren't exactly the most free scoring team. The total line is based pretty much on this at 2.25 while there is a scenario where both teams change their entire approach and just go way more risk-on resulting in a goalfest. I'm keeping my eye on the possible over at high odds but want to get some kind of confirmation. Standard remains a team with a home fan advantage that at times makes the difference so I can't oppose them at the current +0 line while I also don't trust them.

Union vs Antwerp
In Playoff 1 there is a big quality gap between the top 3 and the bottom 3 with Antwerp as one of the teams that looks like they will have a hard time. I fully expect Union today at home to play at hull force and intensity while Antwerp likely will at least start the match hoping to get their chance on the counter. At the same time, the line is set at -1.25 which is hard to argue with and feels like a bit too much to the point where it might become tempting to take a small try on Antwerp. In a match like this for me, Union on the first half with a -0.25 line at 1.80+ odd would be an option. Antwerp is without Alderweireld while Dounbia is also suspended. Also here I'm taking a cautious approach with
