Block.one is sure ramping up the hype around their June announcement, whatever it will be they will reveal June 1st. After repeated but vague announcements by Dan and Brendan Blumer, B1 has set up a dedicated page for the date, make sure to check out the animation:
There have been a lot of rumours around, guessing what could be waiting for us, not the least Dan's emoji riddle, the version i like most is, they will launch their Social media platform MEOS, and proof of identity is done via their smartphone-based wallet, the dapp stake being fueled by b1s freed 10% of 100 Mio EOS tokens, that they will have available by then.
Whatever it will be, b1 is demonstrating that they are meaning it. That they have set up a site, and are setting up notifications for subscribers. Is it all hype? If it was another company i would be rather sceptic, but with launching EOS.io, b1 has proven they are able to deliver. Yes, they have been rather quiet, and REX aside, nothing much seemed to have happened over the past year, but they also didn't effectively promise anything. So this move imo is definitely a good sign,
Especially, that Dan, BB, and b1 are finally communication in a coordinated manner is convincing!
