The never-ending grind!

Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. I think I can now confirm for myself that the meta is changing on a day-to-day basis and the shift is more drastic between the ranks of Midnight Shadow, Auric Gold, and Solar Gold. For the past few months, I refused to actively react to the shifting of meta since I got a pretty decent deck that can win 50% and up of games.

Such a toxic design! :)

Today I want to talk to you about a very fun deck in #godsunchained which has brought me great joy because I have defeated decks that from my point of view were difficult to beat.

Love it when Gariel works out.
Greetings to the entire "Gods Unchained" community, today I'm playing a "Zoo Light" deck and I faced an "Atlantean Magic" deck played by "MinPQT".

Now that's a nice collection of decks!

I keep a collection of decks codes in a text file, in my computer. I like to see how old decks used to work and I like to use them as base for experiments when new cards come out. I also enjoy meme decks and you never know when new cards suddenly make a meme deck competitive! I thought other people might find this curated list of deck codes useful, so I decided to make it public. I also created and linked each code to a corresponding deck in GU Decks. I am missing a lot of old decks that at some point in time were relevant, so if you have any of those codes around, send me a message and I'll add them to the list 😏

Some light gameplay.
Greetings community, this time I come to tell you about a battle I had yesterday with a light deck that seemed exaggerated to me. I started recording a bit late because I didn't think it was so strong. Initially, I was comfortably winning, with their god at 15 life points and they healed up to 40. That's when I started recording, and I did my best to win. It was the longest battle I've had so far, about 40 minutes for just one fight. It felt too long. The archetype my opponent used was this one.

Wooo mobile!

Welcome mortals to another Gods Unchained post, in this post I'm going to cover GU's long anticipated Mobile launch (click here to get it from the app store). Spoiler Alert: It's a glorious sight to behold. I haven't actually played many games on mobile yet but certainly will be putting the time in, submitting the bug reports, and getting slightly tilted at losing due to app error. But it's ok, I've been waiting for the day I've been able to share one of the games I love with people I know AND be able to play it in my day to day without devoting "desktop time" each day (when the app eventually is about as buggy as mobile). Overall I'm hyped about this development! I can finally play GU on my smartphone. What a time to be alive

Welcome to the community!

Greetings friends, today I have some cards that I commonly use, in my Gods Unchained deck, with the god of war Auros, who offers us his advantages, depending on the situation of the battle, and if we start in first place or second, We can take advantage of both situations, to implement strategies, and have good results, just as we can modify our deck to implement infinite strategies, against other gods, and cards, and have a battle, very fun and dynamic.

More grinding!

Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. This day has not been easy for me. First, I've got my opponents completing their combos before I do, second the cards that I needed never came out, I guess it's just how RNG works. And with that being said, I was only able to win four out of ten matches today in Auric Gold.

Starting a new account? A great way to test the new-player experience.
So with mobile coming out, I've started a new account to test how a mobile-only experience could be for totally new players. Mainly to see the user experience, but I was also interested in how hard it is to progress nowadays. Disclaimer: having multiple accounts is against GU's ToS, and I'm only doing it for this experience. During these days I'm not playing any games with my main account, so I don't earn double P&E (and obviously earn much less with plain decks in low ranks 😅). The GU team noted that they don’t always enforce bans if there is no malicious behaviour.
