Welcome to my first post. Thanks for reading this far.
I live in lovely Nanaimo British Columbia. Let me tell you where that is, to save you the web-search-engine'ing for it. (I don't use that one, that is synonymous with 'search', I am trying to extricate myself from their all seeing eyes)
Picture Vancouver BC. Place of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Beautiful mountains meeting the lovely sea.
Draw a line due west from there, over the body of water, about 40 kilometers - that's where I live.
Or, Picture Seattle. Birthplace of Grunge, Home base of Microsoft (the dichotomy - I LOVE IT).
Now draw a line Northwest of Seattle, about 400 kilometers - that's where I live.
What do I do here? I am an entrepreneur and IT geek - I amcurrently serving as a part-time CTO for a local technology company here, but my real job and passion is currently bootstrapping my next venture. Which is Blockchain based - that's how I found this site. I love technology. I love big problems. I love fixing things.
I plan to blog about my adventures in startup-land. This isnt my first kick at this cat*, I was employee #11 (developer #4) at a startup early in my career, which was a success in that 1) its still an existing company and 2) I made money on my options.
I hope you enjoy my rambling musings.
*No cats will actually be kicked during this endeavor.
