Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to share a few photos of some really creepy fog!

Foggy Spring Monochrome Monday
Fog is a favorite natural phenomenon of mine! It ends up looking really cool and dramatic for photos, especially those in black and white!
The little man and I have some favorite spots where we go walking. This was for sure one of them! We have some areas that we can go by that have a nice little area underneath them, and this is one with a cool bit of scenery. We happened upon it one morning a while back and it's not too far of a drive so we give it a shot every so often!
I was heading out with the little man for some stuff one morning. We went outside and realized it was foggy as fuck out! That meant though that we could get some cool photos if we checked out some of the good spots that we know. We managed to get to this one before the sun cleared it up so it was good timing!
The fog was pretty damn thick this morning! It was actually surprising because it's usually deep summertime that has fog like this, it was pretty early in the season! I don't mind it regardless because it gives some cool and interesting scenery to take a look at.
What happened with this one is that the day before was absolutely beautiful. It was high 70's or so, and a really wonderful day to be out and about. We enjoyed it to the max for sure, but the night overnight it dropped down really far back into the more normal temperatures for the season. It was a little strange that it didn't just rain, but instead we got a thick blanket of fog covering the area!
I always love walking around in the fog. It reminds me of the movie, at least in my mind, Sleepy Hollow. Although I don't live near there, or other places that get a lot of fog, I certainly enjoy the dramatic look of it!
Transposing those photos into black and white also has a really fun quality to them, because I think the various shades of black, white and grey give it a way more dramatic look. The trees look like they are going to come alive and start attacking you! haha
What is wild is that you can't even see the little dip down beyond the trees there. That area is usually pretty good as it goes down a ways but you can't even see it so that's pretty crazy. It almost makes you have creepy feelings as to what may lay beyond the mist! (ghost sounds LOL)
I think the next time we get a batch of fog rolling in, I'm going to check out this other place a little bit down the road to switch it up!
