In case you dont know, it is vesak day today.
In case you didnt know, vesak day is the day when we come together to share and celebrate Buddha’s teaching.
I am sure many does not know that buddhism can be seen as both a religion and not a religion.
For me, it is more of a teaching of truth than a religion. It is about cause and effect. It is about suffering and how temporary things are.
People think that karma is a punishment. But believe me, it is not. It is akin to a man throwing a tennis ball at a wall, and the ball bounced back and hit the guy in the face. Is that punisment or due to the laws of nature?
Thatz how simple some things in buddhism can be explained.
