Minimalism

Minimalism is the art of doing more with less, reducing your footprint, cutting out needless possessions and preoccupations, and focusing your time, money, and other resources on priorities and values. Minimalism is not some fruity concept, in fact sooner or later in life we realize that we don't have the time or resources to achieve or experience all the things that are possible. We are all here just for a short visit.

The reality is, if we don't make the decisions about what is important for us, life will take us on a ride and decide for us. As we get older we learn to cut out the noise and the nonsense, learn to not give a shit about people's opinions that try to limit our potential, and understand we only have so much time and love to share and focus that on the worthy and productive people and things in our life. Simplicity helps us open to possibility.

In fact, regarding minimalism, we all know that we can't take it with us when we go, so you might as well deal with it now and cut the fat away instead of carrying burdens all the way to the end. Furthermore, when you keep your cup full to the rim all the time there is no room for anything new. A vessel that is half-empty has room for the new while cherishing and appreciating the special gifts of a lifetime.
