I began my Albion Online career about a month ago. I was able to make enough silver in game to pay for my second month after my initial purchase which included a month of premium. Now I am 3 days into my 30 days remaining and I am right on track to be able to pay for another month of service before my current timer ends. The economy in this game is great and you are rewarded for nearly everything you do, including practice arenas.
That is what you guys see above. I am healing and actually doing quite well in this game. Not every game is as easy to heal but my team was ready for taking damage this time. The arena in this is a moba style ruleset. You respawn when you die and you have to capture 3 points. The top points are closest to each base. There is a middle point that usually is the one that is fought over. It helps to have CC and pushback so that you can knock people off of the points. After you stand on it for so long, uncontested by an enemy, then your team will cap it and it will knock the enemy teams points down by 10. You start with 150 points. Every kill also knocks off 1 point from the opposing team.
I am practicing here to get better at healing so that one day I can fight in GvG fights, which is similar to arena. The map for GvG is different and you also lose the gear you have when you die. Guilds will do GvG fights to defend or attack someone else's territory. When you win, you either keep the territory if you are defending, or capture it if you are attacking. It is beneficial for guilds, and alliances to have territories so that you can have places to run to in zones if you are getting attacked.
