SPS DAO Project Manager Month 17 Invoicing and Recap
Greetings my fellow Splinterfolks, I want to provide a brief overview of the major projects I've been working on for the last month. It's been another busy month as we're gearing up for the Conclave Arcana release and there are multiple ongoing projects, so I'll do my best to keep this concise.
Multiple days of pretty much every week for the last several months have been spent on assisting with CA testing and design. Initial feedback from testers is giving me the impression that we've got a very well-rounded set on our hands which makes all of the extra hours spent on this feel more worthwhile. I'm very optimistic that we're going to outperform Rebellion with this set.
One of the other big projects that I've been working on for the last couple of months has been setting up the SPS Foundation and moving forward with the Ramp Network integration for SPS. We're now in the endgame of that process and I'm currently expecting that my first estimate in the proposal was correct and that we will be ready for the CA release and marketing push. I'm also in talks with another payment processor and trying to negotiate a free listing there so that we can have another layer of redundancy to our fiat on-ramping options.
There has been quite a bit of follow up in regards to the Validator launch and we're going to be announcing the first consensus-breaking update today. You'll be able to see that on the
@sps.dao account after I get the dev signoff. I've been working with royaleagle to try to get our CMC info updated and one of the requirements to do that was getting our block explorer setup. That work continues.
This month I of course did all my standard housekeeping type of work, such as making tournaments and treasury reports. I'm also working on mathing out the CP requirements for the tournaments after CA launches. The SPS Whitepaper has also been updated to reflect that SPS Validators are live and there were several tense changes to update the pages.
Currently I'm also working on investigating issues with SoulKeep and our bridges to ETH and BSC. We may be having JPTR build DAO owned bridges sooner than later. I've also discussed doing more regular DAOn Halls with PJ to help the DAO formulate effective strategies to expand our DeFi operations.
If you're still with me so far, thanks for reading and taking an interest in the SPS DAO governance operations. It's going to be another busy couple of months leading up to and supporting the CA launch, but as I said on the recent DAOn Hall, this is the most excited I've been for the future of Splinterlands. I'm looking forward to an amazing rest of the year. Until next time...
Reminder: I'll be taking one week of my two weeks vacation time from April 7th to April 14th.
This month we did not run any eligible DAO Sponsored Proposals.
