Hello SMASHers!!
Hufft.. finally made time to join this contest again after going MIA for 2 months, hehehe. Been busy with community events and every time I started to create a post, there's always something around distracted me. But, I never forgot to hunt the shadows. It's everywhere around as long as I go out at the right time.
Walking back from the mosque after my night prayer, this tree shadow always caught my eyes, but it's not easy to snap a perfect shadow because there's always additional lights from the scooters or cars that passing by. I need to set my phone camera into the "night" mode to get a clear shot of the shadows.
While waiting for my turn to recite the Qur'an and listen to others, I caught the shadow of my hand. Well, it's only when hosted by Mrs. Djauhari that I can do that. My neighbors are getting used to my habit on shadow hunting too. So, they didn't say anything when I use my phone other than opening the app to read the holy book, hehehe.
Enjoying the fragrant and beauty of
Epiphyllum Pumilum (a little sister of the queen of the night, epiphyllum oxypetalum) at night in my front yard, I caught the shadow of its stamen and pistils, unfortunately, it's a faint shadow. I need a better camera to catch the perfect one. Besides it's almost midnight and mosquitos were attacking from every corner, couldn't stand still, LOL.
Anyway, since this beauty only bloom at night, I finally remember to catch some of its shadow using the "night" mode on my Poco X3 GT camera. I need to chose the best entry from these two.
By the way, this beauty also an epiphyllum cacti, this one called
Epiphyllum Hookeri, the most beautiful one hasn't bloomed for years now.
Thanks to
@melinda010100 who has been running this contest for 7 years now, this
round 364 is the 7 years edition. I'll join the contest with a beauty shadow of the beautiful white flower.
