Rain Drops

By @chickenburger4/11/2018poetry

Viewing my own reflection,
Cemented on my window sill,
Anticipating weather correction,
With too much time to fill.

Warm tea sipping, curled up, knees bent,
Waiting to pass this miserable event,
Grey clouds all around,
Endless drizzle,
Driveway flooded, muddy ground,
And no hair frizzle.

I much prefer a warm summers day,
Out in the farm selecting juicy ripe berries,
Or building sandcastles on a nice summers getaway.

Back to reality, pessimistic mood, low spirited,
Condensation building,
Outdoor adventure limited.

If I had one wish,
Clouds dispersing, rain disappearing,
Sun shining through and people cheering.
