Introducing myself...

I am Amila Chanaka. A naturalist and working as the curator of Ridiyagama safari Park under National Zoological Department. My Hometown is Ambalangoda and now I am living in Ja-ela. I am married to a nice woman, who met me during my university life. I am a Natural science degree holder in Open university Sri Lanka and I have a postgraduate diploma obtained form postgraduate institute of Archeology .

I Started my professional life by joining with the Wildlife Trust Sri Lanka, Ministry of Wildlife Resources conservation as the programme officer.As a naturalist and a biologist, my subjects of studies and researches are herpetology ,Zoo archeology, mammalian biology. I am doing wildlife photography as a hobby as well.
