On this quiet night surrounded by the soft glow of a warm candle and accompanied by a comforting tea, I am about to share with you a new creative chapter, a special representation for the collection of your beloved healer the Healer Ocean Male. It is an honor for me to be back in this space connecting with you each week and the magic that unites us through art. This work has been an experience full of discoveries as at first, I must admit I felt some uncertainty about how to approach this character. I had not dared to explore ideas with him before, but as I immersed myself in his essence I discovered the details that characterize him and made me feel more and more comfortable. Working on his outfit was especially rewarding because there is something profoundly special about shaping the drapes, folds and reliefs of his clothes and each of the ones I have made. In each stroke and texture I found a new connection, a different way of interpreting it, allowing the healer to come to life in a serene and emotional way, trying to maintain his expression by exaggerating his frown a little. This representation seeks to reflect that serenity, presenting him in a seated portrait that conveys a deep stillness, a calmness that, I hope you like for this #Collection.
I started working in layers, beginning with the sketch in which I like to fine tune the details to have more control, and followed with the normal blending method to define the color and structure bases of the character. This approach allowed me to establish the foundation on which I would build the details.
As I progressed, I sought to add more saturation and depth using layers with methods such as overlay and soft light. These techniques, which have become favorites in my process, offer extraordinary versatility to achieve a unique vibrancy in each element. In addition, I decided to incorporate glows, carefully worked with a soft brush. This brush gave me the delicacy needed for the luminous effects, while for specific areas such as the hair and background, I opted for textured brushes.
The process was a new and creative journey and at the same time my excitement was growing. Watching the Healer come to life, with each fold, each shimmer and each detail coming together to create a harmonious composition, is one of the things I enjoy most about this practice. Each layer became a step towards building the personality and details of the Healer Ocean Male.
Looking at the final result of this work fills me with satisfaction. It is gratifying to see how an initial idea is transformed into a piece full of details, emotions and life. I hope that this representation reflects the serenity and connection that I was looking to capture and that you can enjoy every detail in it.
