Those small moments...

It's those small moments that nobody really see...
Those moments when reality hits you and suddenly you see things in either a prettier or grimmer light...
Those moments after a long day where you run yourself a nice hot bath with bubbles and just hang there with a cup of whatever, and a good book or whatever gets your mind off of the events of the day...
Those feelings you experience when you see something/someone that you truly love, or those you feel when you do something you really love...

It's those things that you do for yourself, like:

Climbing the tree in your backyard just to feel free like you use to as a child.
Going down the water slide that no one your age goes down "because it's for kids" just because you don't want to be "grown up" for that moment.
Singing in the shower, and dancing around to your favourite songs to give your inner child a chance to perform at their own concert. Despite the fact that your mail man or someone might or might not knock on your door at any moment.
You making yourself all kinds of new dishes, because you now live alone or your family asked you to make dinner or you just need some food because you're hungry, and you saw something that seemed tasty on social media or TV, and now you want to try it.
You deciding to adopt a new hobby because you want something new. And even though now a lot of people think you're weird because it is so different from what you usually do, you are going to do it anyway. Because you want to make the most of your life and try as much of what this world/life has to offer for you; with or without the people currently around you. Because you know finding yourself is one of your top priorities and that not everyone you know today will be there tomorrow, because people change and even so it is not a bad thing, because in the end you will be where and with who you need to be.
It is just those moments where you decide "screw the rest of your opinions, this is my life and no matter what or how much of it you say, this is who I am and you can either except it or leave me alone and find the group or whatever makes you feel at home."

I really think those moments are very important to have on a daily basis. Because it helps you realize who you are and what you want, and maybe how you will get there...
