April fools prank gone wrong.
For me it was perfect timing that April 1st was a Monday. It meant I could confuse my daughter from the very second she woke up, making her more likely to believe just about anything I'd say.
I woke up before her and began thinking about what would give a great, utterly confused reaction from her... as it often happens, I was completely out of ideas, so it ended up with me waking her up by telling her we were in a hurry because we needed to catch the flight for our holiday.

Now, if I had been woken up like that, I would probably be out of myself! I am extremely gullible in the morning - I am horrible at early mornings 😂
With my daughter, 8 years of age, I was expecting something similar.
And yet, the only thing she said, even before opening her eyes, was "we're not going on holiday, dad".
So much for that prank 🤣🤣
