Les presento la culminación de mi proyecto “Unicornios” hechos en la técnica de Amigurumi. Estos lindos muñequitos fueron el encargo mas bonito que tuve la dicha de tejer en el 2025 para mi clienta Paola, quien emocionada por el cumpleaños numero 3 de su hija Paullete soñaba con poder decorar los centros de mesas para la fiesta con un toque especial “unicornios de AMOR”
I present to you the culmination of my “Unicorns” project, made using the Amigurumi technique. These cute little dolls were the most beautiful commission I had the pleasure of crocheting in 2025 for my client Paola, who, excited about her daughter Paullete's third birthday, dreamed of decorating the centerpieces for the party with a special touch: “unicorns of LOVE.”
Para los que se perdieron mi dos publicaciones anteriores a esta les voy a dejar el enlace para que disfruten un poco mas de mi humilde trabajo.
Fue una aventura, algo parecida a la que tuve con la colección de princesas Disney. Tarde un aproximado de 6 meses en hacerlas; hubiese terminado antes pero mi salud no me lo permitieron, aun así me propuse ir poco a poco y terminar antes de irme de vacaciones decembrinas.

It was an adventure, somewhat similar to the one I had with the Disney princess collection. It took me about six months to make them; I would have finished sooner, but my health didn't allow it. Even so, I decided to take it slowly and finish before going on vacation in December.

Para hablarles un poquito acerca del proceso les puedo contar que fue suerte tener la ayuda de videos de Youtube, en verdad hay una gran variedad de modelos y distintas técnicas que te hacen sentir como pez en el agua.
In addition to the pleasure I get from knitting, I must also add that having that extra income coming in was very welcome.
To tell you a little bit about the process, I can say that I was lucky to have the help of YouTube videos. There really is a wide variety of models and different techniques that make you feel like a fish in water.
Uno de mis unicornios favoritos fue el primero que hice, unicornio sentado de color verde agua. Aunque me quedó algo pequeño fue quien me introdujo en la idea buscar hebras de hilo mas grandes y cambiar el tipo de aguja si quería obtener un resultado distinto, es decir mas grande para que se hicieran notar en el arreglo de centro de mesa.
One of my favorite unicorns was the first one I made, a sitting unicorn in sea green. Although it turned out a little small, it was the one that gave me the idea to look for thicker yarn and change the type of needle if I wanted a different result, that is, larger so that they would stand out in the centerpiece arrangement.
El ultimo que hice también me gustó mucho, fue el unicornio de cuatro patas rosado, ese lo hice con una lana que se llama araña bebe, aquí en Venezuela es muy conocido.

I also really liked the last one I made, which was a pink four-legged unicorn. I made it with a type of yarn called araña bebe, which is very well known here in Venezuela.
